YouTube picture-in-picture mode will be available to Android users outside the US

YouTube picture-in-picture mode will be available to Android users outside the US: In 2017, Google introduced the PiP (picture-in-picture) service for owners of RED / Premium paid subscriptions. But it seems that soon everyone will be able to test the regime.

In June 2018, residents of the United States were able to use the function even without having a paid subscription. For some reason, Google then forgot about other countries. Now users from Italy have noticed that this mode also began to work for them.

Perhaps in the near future, it will be available in other regions of Europe. However, only for owners of smartphones with a version of the OS starting with Android 8.0 Oreo.

The PiP function allows you to minimize the video in a small window and at the time flipping through another application. You can enable it in the settings of YouTube, then open the video and go to another application or to the desktop.

The author of the video itself can limit access to the mode. When exactly it will be available to all, is still unknown.
