Oppo, the Chinese smartphone behemoth, has released a new smartphone in its A series for the domestic market.
The Oppo A36 is a new smartphone from Oppo that is powered by a Snapdragon 680 processor and has a dual-camera setup on the back. It will have a 5000mAh battery and be available in a single 8GB RAM+256GB internal storage variant.
Oppo A36 Specifications
The Oppo A36 features a 6.56-inch HD+ IPS display with a refresh rate of 90Hz. A hole-punch cutout for the front camera is also present in the display’s upper left corner.
The twin camera setup and an LED flash are housed in a rectangular module on the back panel. A 13MP main sensor and a 2MP portrait camera sensor are included in the twin cameras.
For video calls and selfies, the smartphone also boasts an 8 MP front camera.
The Oppo A36 is equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 CPU, 8GB of RAM, and 256GB of internal storage that can be increased with the use of a microSD card to 1 TB.
It is powered by a 5000mAh battery that supports 10W fast charging and runs ColorOS 11.1 based on Android 11.
Oppo A16K was recently launched by Oppo in the Philippines and is powered by the MediaTek Helio G35 chipset.
It is expected to be launched shortly in India.
Oppo A36 Price & Availability
The Oppo A36 smartphone will be available in China for CNY 1,599 (almost ₹ 18,600 INR).
It can be pre-ordered on the Oppo online shop in China for CNY 1,499 (almost ₹ 17,400 INR) as a pre-sale promotion.
This new device will be available in two color variants, Qingchuan Blue and Qingchuan Blue.
Shipping of the device will begin on January 14 in China.
