The Xiaomi Redmi Note 11 series is finally going global, with the company announcing that it will be available outside of China on January 26th. The Redmi Note 11, Redmi Note 11 Pro, and Redmi Note 11 Pro+ smartphones were released in China in 2021.
The global launch of the Redmi Note 11 series is set for January 26th at 5:30pm IST. All three models are likely to be released in the worldwide market by Xiaomi, although you can expect some differences in features from their Chinese counterparts.
Nonetheless, with the worldwide editions of the Redmi Note 11 smartphones, you can expect some standout features including a 120Hz AMOLED display, 108MP camera, and 67W/120W charging.
The announcement was made on the company’s official Twitter account, along with a teaser graphic saying “Rise To The Challenge” and what seems to be the flat sides of the future Redmi Note 11 smartphone.
“Rise to the ultra-clear challenge,” “Rise to the super-smooth challenge,” and “Rise to the hyper-speed challenge,” according to the webpage for the launch event, which appear to be subtle allusions to the advancements we can expect from the series.
Redmi Note 11 Specifications
The 6.6-inch LCD display on the Redmi Note 11 has a 90Hz refresh rate, FHD+ resolution, and a punch-hole construction. It is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 810 SoC with 5G capability and runs the Android 11-based MIUI 12.5 overlay.
The smartphone is available in four storage configurations: 4GB + 128GB, 6GB + 128GB, 8GB + 128GB, and 8GB + 256GB.
The Redmi Note 11 has a 50MP main sensor and an 8MP depth-sensing lens for portrait pictures on the camera front. A 16MP camera for video calls and selfies is located on the front of the device.
The smartphone’s battery is a 5,000mAh cell with 33W charging, which can charge the device from 0 to 100% in 62 minutes. There’s also a fingerprint sensor on the side, a 3.5mm connector, dual speakers, an IP53 water-resistance rating, and a USB Type-C port.

The Redmi Note 11 Pro will be equipped with a slightly larger 6.67-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED display with 120Hz refresh rate, up to 1,200nits brightness, HDR 10 compatibility, and Gorilla Glass 5 protection.
It features a MediaTek Dimensity 920 chipset and comes in six different configurations: 6GB + 128GB, 8GB + 128GB, and 8GB + 256GB. It runs on Android 11 with the MIUI 12.5 skin on top.
The Pro model has a 108MP main sensor, an 8MP ultrawide (120-degree) sensor, and a 2MP macro sensor. This smartphone also has a 16MP camera sensor.
The 5,160mAh battery with 67W charging, which claims to charge from 0 to 100% in 43 minutes, keeps the lights on.
The Redmi Note 11 Pro Max has JBL tuned stereo speakers, a side-mounted fingerprint reader, and USB Type C, however it lacks an IP53 designation for weather resistance.
The Redmi Note 11 Pro and Redmi Note 11 Pro 5G, with model numbers 2201116TG and 2201116SG, were recently discovered in the IMEI database.
The FCC listing for the Redmi Note 11 Pro 5G (2201116SG) also confirmed that the smartphone would be available in three storage options: 6GB+64GB, 6GB+128GB, and 8GB+128GB.
It’s also reported to come with MIUI 13 out of the box, as well as a 4,700mAh battery with 67W fast charging.
Redmi Note 11 Pro Plus Specifications
The Redmi Note 11 Pro+ is the last model in the series, and it shares the same display, chipset, RAM/storage configurations, camera system, and connection features as its Pro sibling.
The Redmi Note 11 Pro+ boasts a 4,500mAh battery with 120W charging, which is the quickest of any mainstream phone. The smartphone is touted to go from zero to one hundred percent in just 15 minutes using this combination.
