OnePlus has used Oppo’s ColorOS parts in its OxygenOS skin, which includes various features such as Three style dark mode, icon customization, Gallery app, redesigned camera UI, and much more.
The OxygenOS 12 stable version for the OnePlus 9 and OnePlus 9 Pro has begun rolling out globally. The update is coming out through OTA, but you can download the whole ROM from the link below.
However, bear in mind that OnePlus 9 customers are reporting a number of troubles after installing the update.
However, customers of the OnePlus 9R, OnePlus 8, OnePlus 8 Pro, and OnePlus 8T devices can enroll in the OxygenOS 12 Closed Beta programme. And the Open Beta of OxygenOS 12 will be announced soon.

OxygenOS 12 Update Download
OxygenOS 12 will be incremental, as usual. The upgrade will be rolled out to a small number of users first, and then we’ll begin a wider deployment in a few days. To install the OxygenOS 12 update, go to Settings -> System -> System updates and hit the Download button.
How to Download and Install OxygenOS 12 update?
- Download the official Rom from the link provided above.
- Go to the File Manager when the file has been downloaded.
- To choose a file, press and hold it for a long time.
- Select the action overflow menu from the drop-down menu.
- Click Cut.
- Select Internal storage.
- To paste the file into your phone’s root directory, press the Paste button.
- You may proceed with the local upgrade now that the file is in the requisite directory.
- Go to the Settings.
- To get to the bottom of the page, scroll down.
- Choose System.
- Press the System Updates.
- To manually install OxygenOS 12 on your OnePlus phone, choose Install Now.
After the installation is complete, verify the build number by going to the About phone page.
