MediaTek is working on a 5G-processor Dimensity 900: the new product will be more powerful than the Snapdragon 768G
It seems that MediaTek is going to add a new representative to the line of 5G-processors Dimension.
What is known?
This was reported by the Chinese insider Digital Chat Station on its Weibo page. The new SoC passes with the number MT6877 and it can be called MediaTek Dimensity 900. The characteristics of the chip are not yet available, but according to the informant, the test sample of the processor is gaining about 480,000 points in AnTuTu. For comparison, this is more than the Dimensity 820 and Snapdragon 768G, which get about 440,000 points in the test.
When the announcement of the MediaTek Dimensity 900 will take place-there is no information yet. But it is known that it will be the first OPPO smartphone with the model number PEQMOO. The novelty is credited with a 6.43-inch FHD+ OLED display at 90 Hz with a hole, a main camera with a 64 MP main sensor, 12/256 GB of memory, a 4400 mAh battery with 65 W fast charging and a price tag in the region of $390.
