The database of China’s TENAA certification platform has discovered a new Nubia smartphone with the model number NX679J.
In November 2021, this NX679J was first seen under the RedMagic 7 designation at the Bluetooth SIG.
In December, the Chinese 3C authorities validated it, and it is currently listed on TENAA with all of its specifications.

The dimensions of the RedMagic 7 (NX679J) gaming smartphone are 170.57 x 78.33 x 9.5mm, and it weighs 215 grams. It features a large 6.8-inch HD+ OLED screen with a resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels.
A fingerprint sensor is built into the screen. The device’s photos have yet to surface in its TENAA listing.
The smartphone is powered by a 2.95GHz octa-core CPU that appears to be a Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chip. The smartphone might include 8 GB, 12 GB, or 16 GB of RAM, as well as 128 GB, 256 GB, or 512 GB of storage.
In the TENAA listing, the camera specifications for the RedMagic 7 (NX679J) are not specified. The smartphone has four cameras in total, including a 64-megapixel camera, according to the specifications.
As a result, the RedMagic 7’s back shell seems to have a triple camera unit with a resolution of 64 megapixels.

The RedMagic 6 comes with a 5,050mAh battery and 66W fast charging capabilities. As the RedMagic 7 (NX679J) is rumoured to come with a quicker 165W charger, it might have a smaller battery with a capacity of roughly 4,500mAh.
