What is known?

A trustworthy Chinese tipster posted a screenshot of the Realme GT Neo’s AnTuTu listing today. It shows that the handset powered by the Dimensity 1200 will be able to match the success of smartphones powered by the Snapdragon 870 SoC.

The Realme GT Neo with D1200 chip onboard scored 184,187 points in AnTuTu’s CPU test, 246,689 in the GPU test, 126,003 in the memory test, and 154,785 in the UX test, as seen in the image below. As a result, on the benchmarking website, it received a cumulative score of 711,664.

An unnamed Snapdragon 870-powered smartphone, on the other hand, scored 194,908 in the CPU test, 244,241 in the GPU test, 125,061 in the memory test, and 155,375 in the UX test. It received a cumulative score of 719,585 on AnTuTu benchmarks as a result of this.

The SD870 chip did marginally better than the Dimensity 1200 in the CPU comparison, as can be shown. In the GPU comparison, however, the D1200 chip outperformed the Snapdragon 870. According to AnTuTu, the Dimensity 1200 should be able to offer flagship-level efficiency.

Price

The Realme GT Neo is supposed to be less expensive than the Realme GT, which starts at 2,899 Yuan ($441). Smartphones powered by the Snapdragon 870 SoC start at 1,999 Yuan ($304) in China. It’ll be fascinating to see if the GT Neo will be priced equally in the domestic market.
